And I AM NOT HAPPY.
In fact, I am gonna go throw up.
GO Gators!
And, fellow football fiends, we shall NOT speak of this again until I am ready to, OK?
-Your incredibly crushed and heartbroken Gridiron Goddess who believes that the Curse of the Billy Goat should NOT extend to her Trojans. And I am wearing a vintage 1980s Gators shirt right now. Fuck. Fuckity Fuck Fuck Fuck. (Please pardon the profanity. I am shell shocked. OMG. What just happened? Jim Harbaugh? Really? Grrrrrrr

Looks like somebody needs a hug
Grid chick, I feel for ya and I have just what the doctor ordered:

And as they love to say on the North side, just wait till next year, Baby.
I know it’s sad time for you Gridiron Goddess, but if you wanna talk about the USC lost, you’re more than welcome to comment on my post about the Cardinals defeating the Cardinals. All Talk Sports is here for you.
I looked back through 1982, and there’s never been 40 point underdog that won straight up. App State over Michigan? Not even close. App State was a 31 point dog.
I hosted a party at my house in Gainesville for the Gator game. Lots of grumpy people leaving here last night. Florida had LSU on the ropes, just couldn’t close out the game. LSU converting 4th down attempts, fake field goals, etc. Florida kinda broke our hearts.
As for USC, I can’t imagine how you feel unless it’s rage. I think I would be pissed, myself.
Whenever my team takes a bad loss, I always think of people less fortunate than me and watch Springer, that at least gives me a great ego boost if nothing else.
It is a dark day in Troy.
yojoe Fight On!
I spent part of my college football post last week praising USC for the massive blood loss they were surely about to extract from Stanford and their back-up, non-seizuring quarterback. People are calling this the biggest upset of the year…Appalachian State included. I do not agree…at least the Trojans got beat by a Pac-10, I-A rival rather than Michigan’s loss to a I-AA team…who later lost to Wofford. However…it’s a damn close second. Sorry for your loss.
This is the ONE occasion I feel truly best for not having any friends (or husband) who are football fans. Dinner went without any mention of anything football related…thank god for that…although the bar at Barney’s Beanery kept exploding every time the Chargers did something. Very disruptive. Heh.
It sucks to be us, Amy…
And I just realized now that wasn’t the Chargers but the Bears. Okay, I *AM* an NFL retard. Sorry…
