Hi! I’m Kristy, absolUTE fan of football college and Pro. A Utah fan for over 15 years, I attended the University of Utah majoring in Economics and once worked on the football team for my beloved Utes. Most wouldn’t peg me as a football fan with my long hair and girlie-girl ways wearing 4” red-soled stilettos, however when I explain the Wildcat, start breaking down a nickel versus a dime defense and discuss the brilliance of the West Coast Offense, people see the light.

Football is in my DNA. Not being a product from a football-is-everything family, more like why-does-football-matter family, I taught myself the basics and have learned more from the best coaches and mentors out there. Though not a New York native, I am a HUGE Jets fan (I heart Coach Ryan) and follow the Knicks, enduring years of torture from being a fan of each since age six. Currently I’m working on becoming a Trojan, as I’m applying for my Master’s of Business Administration and shooting to be accepted at the Marshall School of Business at USC.

Matt Lowry will be covering all things ASU Sun Devils for Gridiron Goddess in the 2011 season:

Hello Football Fans I’m Matt and I’m a huge football fan and Basketball fan as well. My follow my teams 24\7 (Raiders,Lakers, Dodgers and USC) I will be attending Arizona State University so that will make me a Sun Devil come Fall of 2011 Pitchforks up. I graduated from Vanden High In 2009 and now I currently attend Solano Community College in Fairfield CA where I major in Communications. I’m in a Sports Broadcasting Class where we run a Network called SCSN (Solano College Sports Network) where I have broadcasted up to 40 Games in my 2 years there.

I also love playing a lot of sports but moving around forced me to learn how to play with new teammates (Military families does that to you) but I’m able to say I’ve seen some of the country and world. I love my sports and this season will be the most exciting to cover with the Conference alignments and the potential of Arizona State.

Kieryn Graham  will be covering all things Cal Bears for Gridiron Goddess in the 2011 season:

After graduating with honors and distinction from San Diego State University, Kieryn Graham completed graduate studies in psychology and literature at the University of California, Berkeley. For twenty years, she developed and administered exemplary developmental programs for disadvantaged students at a major southern California university, where she also served as a Professor of English. Finally fulfilling her life-long dream, Kieryn now writes full-time as Senior Correspondent for newzchief.com. “I love writing more than food, sex, and Disneyland…combined,” she says.

Allison Newman  will be covering all things ASU Sun Devils for Gridiron Goddess in the 2011 season:

Hi, I’m Allison Newman, a second generation Sun Devil and a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School
of Journalism at Arizona State University. A product of two older brothers, I was the girl trying to teach
my best friend what a Hail Mary is on the playground and wore Deon Sanders’ tennis shoes rather than
jellies. I have a strong background in sports, previously working for two Major League Baseball teams
and even an internship with my beloved Sun Devil Football team. I love all sports but have a special spot
for Sun Devil football. I have a bad habit of getting emotional during the pre-game/entrance videos then
moving directly into using every explicative that goes with “Ripping someone’s head off.”

Originally from San Diego, I am unfortunately a Padres fan and also follow the Chargers. I also represent
Phoenix and follow all of the local teams. Along with my Devils, I am a Pac-12 girl and am excited to see
what this new conference has to offer!
